Upon instructions of investors : We purchased the property in 2008, an investment of £600,000 has been made to develop the property with Land Reclamation (to allow land storage)
This State of the Art facility provides 24 hour access and is one of the biggest facilities in Wales, which is prominently located opposite Newport Retail Park and includes a variety of storage activities such as HGV storage, commercial plant, indoor drive up units (and external container storage), general self storage, bulk storage and pallet storage, all have excellent loading bays for all types of vehicles.
Brief Overview
Property Link carried out feasibility, Structural and Valuation reports and negotiated the purchase. Property Link then organised the fit out and managed the complete construction process of the 24hour state of the art self-storage facility.
Property Link also managed a 13,000 sq ft mezzanine floor build and reclaimed an acre of forest land in to a hard standing storage park. Property Link also designed and managed the production of a furniture cash ‘n’ carry operation.
The Future
The site is located opposite Newport Retail Park and with the 100 acre development of houses, offers good growth potential to the property.
Additionally a Furniture warehouse is now also open to the public.
